Classy Arms and Hands. Many dancers have difficulty with arms and hands. They just don't know what to do with them! But beautiful arms and hands makes a dancer look polished and graceful. For this class, Alaena will focus on the three areas of space which surround the body in which arms and hands can be used effectively. There will also be discussion on ways to use arms and hands both for classic oriental style and for folkloric style. Examples of arm and hand movements and how to add them to other body movements will be covered.
